Glogster

Once you have found your items and saved them to the computer you are going to create a Glogster poster. A Glogster is an interactive posters that can be loaded with text, graphics, music, videos, and more. You have unlimited creative expression.

How to login to create your Glogster

1. Go to http://edu.glogster.com

2. Click Log in at the top right corner

3. Enter your Nickname (PB number)

4. Enter your password (PB number)

5. Click Log In

You will now work on creating an interactive poster using Glogster. First, you will find images and items that represent your 10 uncommon things you are thankful for. You will look on the internet for images, audio clips, or create a short movie that symbolize the things on your lists. These can be direct representations -- a picture of a person walking a dog, or more figurative -- paw prints in the sand.

Follow these steps for saving your images and music/audio items

1. First, create a folder to place all of your downloads
   • Click the Windows button
   • Click on Pictures
   • Right click in the open area
   • Find 'NEW' and hold the mouse there
   • Choose 'Folder'
   • Type your first name
   • Hit enter
2. This folder is where you will save all of your items.
3. Search the internet and click on the image or sound you would like. (Music Clips - www.freeplaymusic.com)
4. Once the item is displayed – RIGHT CLICK on the item.
5. Choose ‘Save Image As’
6. Double Click your name folder
7. Rename the file if needed
8. Click ‘Save’
9. Repeat this process until you have the items you would like to display your thankfulness
10. You may also choose to make a short video using your webcam on your laptop. Be sure to save it to your folder.
